Assisted Places

The Governors of St. Aubyn’s are committed to broadening access to the School by offering to eligible parents/guardians means-tested financial support with the payment of school fees.

Such support is known as an assisted place and this may be awarded to a pupil entering Year 3 (7+) in the form of a discount of up to 100% of tuition fees payable, depending on the financial, compassionate or other pertinent circumstances of applicants.

Assisted places are open to all candidates and are available, subject to annual review, through to Year 6.

For Year 3 (7+) entry in 2023, please note that the deadline for receipt of completed assisted place applications is Friday 13 January 2023.

Words really cannot describe how grateful we are for the financial support we have received for our child throughout her stay at St. Aubyn’s School. Without doubt, this opportunity has proven to be life-changing for our child.

Without the assisted place, we would not have been able to afford to give our child the exposure to the well-balanced and quality education that the school has provided, which has broadened her aspirations and challenged her to be the best she can be.

Having the opportunity to attend St. Aubyn’s has enabled access to a well-rounded and enriching curriculum, from Coding to Latin, and individual sports to team sports. This has helped develop our child intellectually, foster her strengths and also developed her confidence.

Our daughter always looked forward to going to school and enjoyed every single one of her lessons. While the school’s structural support team was always there to provide any guidance our child needed, they also promoted a culture of independence and the ability to drive her own learning and develop courage to take risks and try out new things.

Our child’s time at St. Aubyn’s School also afforded her the opportunity to attend several school trips which further promoted her love for learning. Not only has our child evolved into a very confident and courageous child, she has also developed as a compassionate and respectful child which we believe is down to the overall ethos of the school.

As our daughter moves on to one of the top two girls’ independent schools in London, undoubtedly, St. Aubyn’s has helped lay a solid foundation on which she will thrive. We will forever be grateful to St. Aubyn’s as our child looks forward to a great future that lies ahead of her.
