Parental Workshops

On the first Friday of every month, we will be holding a workshop coffee morning with the Head of Learning Support, covering a variety of topics.

At this month’s workshop, we looked at Fine Motor Skills and Handwriting. We looked at the physical development of motor skills, difficulties our children are experiencing and practical activities to support our children at home.

Further topics for upcoming months will be spelling/dyslexia strategies and transactional support. We encourage you to attend as many sessions as are relevant to your child.

The next Parent Workshop, Friday 10th January 2025 will focus on e-safety, an essential topic for today’s digital age. During this session, we will discuss key risks and advice on how to keep children safe online. We will also cover important topics like consent, reporting, and the computing curriculum at St. Aubyn’s. As always, we will share practical strategies that you can use to support your children at home, ensuring they navigate the online world safely and responsibly. Join us to learn how to protect and empower your child in the digital space.
