In recent weeks, we have asked both pupils and staff the same question: what makes a great lesson?
The answers were remarkably close. Pupils told us they value fun, variety, independence and challenge. Teachers highlighted curiosity, progress and the need for every child to be stretched. Taken together, the message is clear. The best lessons are those that engage, inspire and include, while also pushing each child to achieve more than they thought possible…
