Beyond the playing fields and pitches, our grounds include dedicated outdoor learning environments designed for exploration, environmental education and wellbeing. These spaces bring character to everyday learning as the curriculum comes to life in these areas on a daily basis for pupils across all year groups.

The Harmony Hub is a dedicated, quiet space designed for reflection, calm and connection with nature. Used by pupils across the school, it provides a setting for guided mindfulness activities, pastoral conversations and moments of stillness within a busy school day.
The hub supports our Happily commitment and Place2Be partnership, offering a natural environment where children can process emotions, regulate their energy and build the internal resources that support academic focus and social confidence.
The sustainability garden gives pupils hands-on experience of environmental stewardship. Through planting, growing, composting and observing seasonal change, children develop a practical understanding of ecology, sustainability and their responsibilities to the natural world.
Environmental education is embedded into the curriculum and reinforced through the pupil-led eco committee, which drives sustainability initiatives across the school. This connects directly to our Faithfully commitment – developing responsible, compassionate citizens who understand their impact on the world around them.
The outdoor amphitheatre provides a unique setting for class performances and outdoor teaching. It embodies the school’s belief that learning is not confined to four walls and gives pupils the experience of performing, presenting and debating in a natural setting.
Across the wider campus, outdoor play areas, environmental zones and green corridors between buildings ensure that children have daily contact with nature and open space. For Early Years pupils, outdoor provision is particularly important, purpose-built outdoor learning areas extend the EYFS classroom into the natural environment.
